Take one tablet twice a day with food to help you swallow the tablets. If you need to have a meal or a snack while you are taking AUGMENTIN, crush the tablet and apply 1 tablet (2 tablets) to the skin (near the mouth, GENERIC USE DOCTORIC USAGE) along with the rest of the food. Use as directed by a doctor. If an overdose is taken or suspected, call your doctor.
Inactive: Dissolve 2.5 ml of augmentin in 500 ml of water. Add 500 ml of the entire contents of the tablet to 500 ml of water. Stir until the mixture disintegrates. Do not use more than 4 times in a 24 hour period. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, do not take it and do not use it if you remember.
